Student team trying to host skill and get certified

Hi, we're a student team that has been working hard at a skill for more than a month now. However, our skill uses Tensorflow which we haven't found to be compatible with AWS Lambda or other AWS resources. As students, how do we host the skill that satisfies all certification requirements? Do you have any resources specifically for students? We only had limited credits for AWS Student accounts that have gone towards creating the skill. Thanks!

    Hey Grishma,

Thanks for taking part! Check out these sites for some help hosting your skill yourself:

There are other options, too if you Google a little bit. I hope this helps!

Thanks Stefanie. AWS Lambda has a file size limit which is lesser than that of our model. I am not aware of any other AWS resource that can help with the same. Would you be aware of any? Since we can't opt for Lambda, are students teams expected to finance themselves for hosting skills with security conditions required for certification?

    Hey Grishma,

I'm not sure of the file size, but you don't have to use Lambda. You can use any hosting that works for you. We can only provide you with the same free services that everyone else has access to. You are welcome to pay for additional hosting, but are not required to. Is there a way to create a smaller model for the purposes of the competition?

    Best,

Sadly no. We currently don't have the finances to opt for additional hosting. Thanks though!
